Need an ETC Card Quickly?

We understand that sometimes you need to hit the road immediately. Whether you're PCSing, have a last-minute road trip planned, or your existing card was lost or damaged, we offer expedited solutions to get you an ETC card as fast as possible.

Our Rush Temporary ETC Card program lets you get an ETC card the same day (pickup) or within days (shipped) while your official card is being processed.

Pickup at Yokosuka

Usage Period: 14 days
Once your official ETC card is ready, we will notify you for pickup
Return the temporary card to our office within 14 days

Best for: Local customers who can visit our Yokosuka office and want the fastest option.

Shipped Anywhere in Japan

¥2,000

Usage Period: 14 days
Your temporary card will be shipped FREE to your address in Japan
Return using the pre-paid, self-addressed envelope provided
You may wait to receive your official ETC card before mailing back (within 14 days)

Best for: Customers located anywhere in Japan who can't visit our office.

Important Notes for Temporary ETC Cards

Lost or Damaged Cards¥4,000

Replacement fee if the temporary card is lost or damaged beyond use.

Late Return Fee¥1,500 / 7 days

A late fee of ¥1,500 applies for every seven days beyond 21 days (on Days 21, 28, 35, etc.)

Timeline: You have 14 days to use the temp card. After Day 14, please return it. Late fees begin on Day 21 if not returned.

Temporary Card Billing

All toll charges incurred while using the temporary ETC card will be added to your monthly invoice. This includes:

  • •All ETC toll usage from the temporary card's active period
  • •The temporary card fee (¥1,500 or ¥2,000)
  • •Any late return fees if applicable

Note: Once your official ETC card is issued, your standard ¥1,200/month service fee applies when that card is used. Temporary card usage is tracked separately.

Pickup Process: Call ahead to arrange pickup. Bring your ID and confirmation email. Sign the temporary card agreement and you'll receive the card immediately.

How to Request a Rush Temporary Card

Contact Us First

Email support@japanetccard.com or call 046-874-7156 to request a rush temp card and confirm availability.

Choose Your Option

Select pickup (¥1,500) or shipped (¥2,000) based on your location and urgency.

Complete Registration (if new customer)

If you're a new customer, complete your full registration so your official card can be processed in parallel.

Receive & Use Your Temp Card

Pick up at our office or receive by mail. Insert into your ETC unit and drive!

Return the Temp Card

Return within 14 days to our office or via the pre-paid envelope provided. Receive your official card and continue driving!

Additional Notes

  • • Rush temp card service is subject to card inventory and processing capacity
  • • Delivery times for shipped cards vary based on location (1-3 days within Japan)
  • • APO/FPO deliveries follow USPS timelines after our shipping
  • • Weekend and holiday orders are processed on the next business day
  • • Existing customers who lost their card can also request a rush replacement
  • • All temp card usage is tracked and will appear on your invoice
