JapanETCcard was selected by NBC as an official vendor for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. We supplied over 200 ETC cards that were deployed across NBC's fleet of shuttle buses and transport vans, enabling seamless expressway travel for Olympic athletes, broadcast crews, and support staff between Olympic Village, competition venues, hotels, and Narita and Haneda airports throughout the duration of the Games.

“Outstanding service and one of the most convenient products I used during my time in Japan. The ETC card made travel throughout Okinawa and mainland Japan simple reliable and stress-free. The entire process was professional efficient and extremely user-friendly. When I return to Japan in the future this will absolutely be one of the first services I sign up for again. Highly recommended. Overall phenomenal experience. The only feedback I would provide is making the monthly service fee more apparent during sign-up or onboarding. The fee itself was not unreasonable but it caught me off guard because I likely overlooked the details during setup. A slightly clearer explanation upfront may help future customers better understand the recurring charge. Other than that excellent service and outstanding convenience.”

“I wasn't going to bother with getting an ETC card with less than 1 year left but going on a trip with a friend's family taking 2 vehicles I realized it may be a good idea to get one. I've never looked back! It was convenient and my friend- who has an ETC- wasn't waiting on me to follow her at each ticket booth. Thank you for making the process from start to finish easy thus far.”

“This service was a HUGE help to us as we adjusted to our life in Japan. We had difficulty getting an ETC card because banking took so long to set-up and we didn’t have a Japanese credit card to associate an ETC card. In the meantime we were sweating bullets each time we got on the highway not knowing if our exit would accept cash or if we would need to drive miles out of our way to find an off-ramp. The JapanETC team was terrific in sending the card quickly and with assisting us with the steps to set-up our ETC card when it turned out that the prior owner of our car still had their card associated with an ETC card. Very highly recommend your service. It helped us avoid some of the never ending red tape in our early days in Japan.”
