ETC Terms of Use

1. Card Ownership

The ETC card remains the property of NoJo Enterprise Co., Ltd. and is issued for your use only. The card must be returned upon request or when service is terminated.

2. Proper Use

• Use only in registered vehicles with approved OBU devices
• Do not lend your card to others
• Do not use expired or damaged cards
• Follow all highway regulations and speed limits

3. Payment Obligations

You are responsible for all toll charges incurred using your ETC card. Payments are due according to the billing cycle (typically monthly, 2 months in arrears). Late payments may result in service suspension.

4. Security Deposit

• Security deposit is required at registration
• Deposit is refundable upon card return in good condition
• Outstanding balances will be deducted from deposit
• Processing time for refunds is typically 4-6 weeks

5. Lost or Stolen Cards

Report lost or stolen cards immediately. You may be liable for unauthorized charges until the card is reported. A replacement fee may apply.

6. Service Termination

Either party may terminate service with 30 days written notice. The card must be returned within 14 days of termination. Failure to return may result in forfeiture of security deposit.

7. Liability Limitations

JapanETCcard is not liable for damages caused by:

• System malfunctions beyond our control
• Misuse of the card
• Acts of nature or force majeure
• Third-party actions

8. Privacy & Data

Your toll usage data is stored securely and used for billing purposes. We do not sell personal information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice. Continued use of the card after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kanagawa Prefecture.
