AI Toll Analyzer

On-board AI summarizes your toll patterns, surfaces anomalies, and writes a plain-language brief — every week — so you spend seconds, not hours, on your tolls.

1 · How it starts

The problem it solves

Raw toll data is just a table. Most drivers — and even most accountants — never sit down to dig for patterns, weekend spikes, route changes, or quietly-dormant cards. Without a written narrative, the signal stays buried.

How it works

It runs on a clean, simple cycle.

1

Each morning the analyzer reads yesterday's MEISAI rows alongside your last 90 days.

2

Patterns are compared against your historical baseline: route, time-of-day, day-of-week, plate.

3

Anomalies are tagged and explained in plain JA / EN — never auto-judged 'fraud,' always 'looks unusual.'

4

A weekly written brief drops into your inbox and your dashboard — short, useful, and human-readable.

Who uses it

Same technology, three use cases.

Personal

A family sees a one-line brief every Monday: 'Spending up 18% vs last 4 weeks · two off-peak weekend trips driven by Mei.' No spreadsheet review required.

Available on the JapanETCcard ↔ Japan Toll Receipts bridge.

Business

A fleet ops lead gets per-card narratives — 'Card ‧4419 increased after-hours usage 3× this week' — so review meetings start with insight, not data dumps.

Gov & Military

A motor pool manager receives compliance-ready written summaries that highlight off-list plates and policy exceptions for the audit log.

Government / Military features open through the JapanETCcard bridge case-by-case.

FAQ

Common questions

Does the AI Analyzer share my data externally?

No. Analysis runs on the same pass-through architecture as your reports — your baseline is held only long enough to generate the brief, then the live rows are wiped just like the rest of MEISAI data.

Is this on the Free Weekly plan?

No. AI Toll Analyzer is a Premium-only feature. Free Weekly is delivery-only — no analysis, no AI summaries, no anomaly detection.

Can the AI make decisions about my card?

No. The AI surfaces 'unusual' patterns and writes the explanation — but every decision (approve, flag, escalate, block) is yours, from your dashboard.

Auto-enrolled for every JapanETCcard member.

This feature is part of the 1-year Premium trial that activates automatically for every JapanETCcard membership — up to 10 ETC cards per primary account. Connect MEISAI, schedule reports, and manage your plan inside the customer dashboard.

¥300/month grandfathered pricing is exclusive to JapanETCcard members — never offered to direct Japan Toll Receipts customers.
